Transmission park to reverse

I got home last night and I parked my car 05 automatic Acura TL on my driveway which is at an incline when I went to put it in park it did a grinding noise. Has anyone experienced this? Or know what the issue is? I am thinking transmission mounts or something is going wrong with the transmission which is changed a year ago.

Check your transmission fluid level! Low fluid level + Incline can cause a grinding noise. Do you use the parking brake at all when parking on inclines? When was the last time the trans fluid was replaced? How many miles on this new transmission?

It certainly can be bad transmission mounts or engine mounts but there is a lot to go though before we can pinpoint the cause of the noise.

This would point to worn motor or trans mounts, or worn axle joints.
