Transmission issue or question

Ok guys so I just brought an a 2004 Acura tl, the car was running perfect for about 30 min then suddenly it just went like it was in neutral, I turn the key off then on and run fine for about 5 min then do it again, so I took it to the shop and they told me the problem was the torque converter and they replace it, along with "reseal" so they ask me to bring the oil, about 10 qts. So I went to buy redline d4 and they fill it up with that, I took the car home and everything was fine, I drove it around for couple hours with out problems, shifting fine and running perfect, next day I went to a trip around an hour from my house and everything was fine , but after 40 min drive I was stopping on the gas station and it down shift very bad , I was like what the hell, anyways I fill up the gas tank and keep going and the car shift fine 1st, 2nd , 3rd then jumped to 4th and back to 3rd then the "D" light start blinking and stay in 3rd, no reverse only 3th gear, so I went to a carquest in this little town and they charge me 30 dlls to pull the codes (they take advtage of you because u are in the middle of nowhere) anyways they pulled the codes and it was 4th solenoid stuck open 5th solenoid stuck open, and torque converter stuck open, so they erase the codes for me (for free thanks god) and send me on my way, then I have reverse again and it was shifting good till it gets to 4th gear again, then it went back to limp mode, so now I'm.thinking on replace the solenoids, and see how runs, so you guys think the problem is the oil I'm using? Before I take the car to the shop I checked all the screens on the solenoids and I didnt find any metal shavings or anything it was pretty clean, so any suggestion? Thanks in advance

most member here is mixing Honda ATF with Redline ATF before fully switching over to Redline so the AT can get use to the new fluid, Hoever other member here also had bad experience with Redline AFT like Papperboy who has an 07 TL-S and need to replace his AT after switching to the new ATF.

I dont know about that, Mine pulled a PO741 code..wouldnt shift up to 2nd or 3rd just kept reving and then the transmission fluid got a dark color to it...Torque converter went. my Tranny guy said that the TL Transmissions suck he does a couple a month all from TL's, Pilots, Oddessy's and some Saturn SUV's that used that variation of trans in 06.

Seems like my problem is on 3rd only if I can get it to past that 4th and 5th works fine, the problems seems to be 3rd only , so if I decide to find another transmission can I install a newer model like 07 and up? It will fit? I just don't wanna spend more money on a transmission that would give me a lot of problems, or any other upgrade? I can try to install the "a" solenoid and see how it runs, I just need to find out which one is
