Transmission delay

I'm having an problem with my tranny. It is ok when cold but when it gets hot, a have a 5 to 10 seconds delay when shifting from reverse to drive. Other than this it shifts like new and have no other issue. I went to the dealer, the mechanic test drove it with me and said to leave it like this. I did a 3x3 oil change and the problem is still there. Do anyone have the same issue?

The flush is already done and i can't see why the pressure switches can help since the tranny shifts smoothly like a new one... maybe i'll give it a try

I had the same issue put the switches in and it is all better, the reason is when u shift to.drive it goes to 3rd gear first.

Yep alot of people have reported this issue. I have a slight delay myself. I did a 3x3 with redline racing fluid and the pressure switches. Didn't feel a difference. I guess this is just how the trans feels. as a comparison my GF had an 03 Honda Accord auto and her trans shifted very quickly. From park to drive was probably 1/2 a sec or less where my TL is about 2 seconds.

Is it only from reverse to drive or is it neutral/park to drive as well?

Reverse to drive and drive to reverse mostly. I'll have to recheck from park to drive when the temperature gets warmer.
In winter it is a lot better but in summer it gets annoying.
