Transmission code p0741

Hey guys.rookie DIY we so be gentle.
If I get a little long winded apologies in advance.
2006 TL 5at 126k
i am second owner
Found out last trans fluid change was at 37k
a couple of weeks ago my trans started slipping going about 40 mph.I was able to limp home and got the p0741 code.
I have done some reading on here and
I did a 3x 3 drain .fluid on the third drain was just as dark brown as the firstNo noticeable chunks ,minor metal flakes on magnetic drain plug.I kept old transmission fluid..Pink in the dipstick after the third drain. I changed the transmission filter yesterday. It was black.
Idid a test drive this morning, nothing above 45 miles an hour and while idling at a drive thru ,I shifted through the gears with my foot on the brake.when I shifted into reverse I heard a clang and when I drove home a couple of miles away at under 40 mph ,tranny started slipping again.rpmneedle bouncing between 2 and 4000 .
made it home and I reversed to park by the curb and when I shifted back into drive car wouldn’t move.I turned it off for a couple of minutes and it started and I was able to park it using drive.
I don’t know where to go from here.Is my tranny shot?
any advice would be greatly appreciated. This is a daily driver and I am on a limited income and am scared to death.

So you drained it and refilled it 3 times, how much driving between each drain and fill? You shouold have driven it a few days or more between each drain and fill.
Did you use DW1?
I would warm it up, shift the gear selector from park to drive and back and forth a few times to see if it will go in drive and move. If so, then just drive around your block 10 times and baby it. Dont goose it.
So maybe it will retrain itself. or relearn. But go slow. Keep the speed downunder 30mph at first until it begins to feel normal.

yes.I used DW1.The first drain felt the best.I could really feel the difference in how it moved .I drive it about 40 miles and then it started slipping and I limped home.I had also done an oil change and coolant flush just prior to the first drain.
The second drain I was only able to go about 10 miles before it started slipping.I had to turn the car off for a few minutes and then limped home.
I shut the car down for a few days and then I did the third drain and replaced the filter.Filter was black but no debris or breakage. The third drain I was only able to go about 20 minutes and I just drive close to home.while waiting in a drive thru ,I shifted through P/R/N/D in 30 second intervals with my foot in the brake and when I put it into reverse there was a loud clank.the other gears worked fine until Drive in front of the house. The slipping was worse after each drain.
I kept the old transmission oil and put a magnet in it to double check for metal shavings and there were none.No flashing D either.I have not done the pressure switches or solenoids and don’t know if that would really make a difference.
I just got quoted $6100 for a new HNA transmission and I almost had a seizure.lol
if you guys think there is anything else I can do ,I’m all ears.If not ,I’ll get a tow to the transmission shop and see what they say.Everything I’m hearing and reading points to the torque converter, which of course is the P0741 code I have been getting.

Swap a salvage low mile BAYA 2006-2007 V6 Honda Accord non-hybrid automatic into the car if you intend to keep it.
It will bolt up to your 2006 3G TL with a few component transfers. There is more information on the thread below if you are interested in reading.

+1
The 04-06 autos are so failure-prone: this is the best solution.
