depends upon where you live R&R transmission $450 labor. rebuilld trans 1300 - 1800 parts/labor

 

Depends what you want, and whats available in your area. If you can find a tranny "expert" that can rebuilt your old one for the right price.. Go for it.
Maybe you have the early 04 design, better go for a rebuilt unit that has the updated version like 06'
Or you can search further in here and read all about transmission.. And decide

 

whats going on with the transmission that you need this? If you can find a deal on TL for parts, Id go with a low mile swap out than rebuild, but that is my opinion.

 

oh and for price, for everything, change out 3&4 pressure switches to be safe and do 3x3 tranny fluid change(then every 50k so on) I'm thinking around 1k(maybe less!)
