Torque converter
Hello everyone,
I have a 2005 acura TL with a 3.2 engine automatic. It changed gear perfectly, never had an issue changing gears, but my Torque Converter was making a grinding noise. I had a friend mechanic change it and now I'm having problems with the gears. I personally think he put something on wrong, but I'm not a mechanic. Could the transmission oil IF its the wrong one be the problem? Could the tranny be the problem even though it was perfect before the converter change? It takes about 3 seconds when put on reverse before it actually engages, it hits second hard and wont get to third, but no noise now. Any help would be great.
Thanks, First timer,
