TL - S Noisy Suspension
Hi Everyone,

Back by popular demand is a new pole to see how many people have/are having the infamous rear suspension clunk in the TL-S.

I don't have a clunk, but I my rear suspension "creaks" when the coils flex. It's bothersome, but something I've accepted and gotten used to. BTW, I'm on an aftermarket suspension setup.

what suspension are u running? IF you are not having the clunk must be better then acura.

The clunk is very much normal in cars with stiff components. It seems to be more audible in my evo when it is cold outside. I have yet to hear the tl make the enjoyable to my ears clunk. Why stiff is good.

my car is at the dealer right now, they just finished replacing the rear struts tonight....I dont expect it to work, but at least I tried

Having clunk on pass side front and rear. Just bought car 78K miles.
What to check? Bushings, shocks?

check all of the above. Sway bar links, bushings, struts, top bearings, etc

my '08 tls has ~1800 miles and I get a click/clunk over bumps but it sounds to me like coming from the front??

hmm...i never noticed any squeeks in the suspension. Ill keep an ear out and see what i can hear. hopefully mines dont squeek.
