Tire depth variation - need advice

I am taking my car to the dealer for inspection, tire balance and alignment tomorrow.

I am having a problem with the right rear tire wearing faster than the rest, suspect tire alignment as the root cause. Now I have both of the right side tires at 3mm tread depth and 4mm on the left side, so there is a 1mm difference between the two.

My question is should I swap one of the left for a right side tire or leave them the way they are since the problem should be resolved with the alignment? Is it a big deal?

Thanks for any input.

Why are you having them balanced and aligned? With 3 MM (.125 - 1/8") and the tires are worn unevenly across the tread, I'd just have the car aligned and leave them in the position they are until new skins are installed. If no uneven tire wear why have it aligned? Just drive until you need new tires, and if no uneven wear, you'll still not need an alignment.

I am having them aligned, because the right rear is wearing at a much higher rate than the rest and it has been over a year. And balanced because the last shop that fixed my bent rim stacked the weights and did a crappy job, they didn't have the roadforce balance machine ...plus the ride could be smoother.

The tires are worn evenly, just the entire right tires are 3mm and the left tires at 4mm, because of the right rear alignment issue. I moved the worn right rear to the front and now both right front and rear are worn more, that's all. (I should have explained that better).
