Timing belt at 101k?

My B12 service light just came on, I see that on most peoples TLs it comes on at 105k do y'all think I'm ok until then? I just got married and I don't want to spend my honeymoon money.

Don't run it hard, let it warm up properly and cross your fingers. I hope the belt doesn't give out on you but if it does..

Good luck OP and congrats on the wedding!

Chances are slim to none that it will brake between now and 105k. Personally I'd just get it done, to get it done.

the cool thing about living in Houston right now, is that its not OVERLY HOT or OVERLY COLD, so the belt should be fine

and I also assume that Acura uses a conservative MID counter, so it'll give you a little leeway

It's not like the belt was bulletproof a week before B14 came on, and now it could explode any minute. It's made it this far, it will probably be OK to 105.

But hey, I have a car that's about 10 years and 50,000 miles overdue for a timing belt. I don't plan on changing it, and I hit redline several times daily.

My old TL went to 140K before its belt was changed and it looked good- you'll be fine, but get in changed in the next 6 months or so for maintaining that safety margin.
