Timing - 2006 TL

Hi all, I was wondering if there is a way to check to see if a TB was replaced properly, easily. The car makes a strange type of bad pulley sound lately, and it just seemed like it didn't have the same performance after the change. I really don't trust the dealer that did the work, since they left one of the motor mount bolts just laying in the hole. So on the two covers there are access holes with little rubber flaps on them. Is there someway I can use those view ports to see if everything was aligned properly? I have no codes on the car, including pending codes.

Thanks

Holy ...I just looked again and yet another fresh thread hole. Plastic bracket that looks like it's supposed to be bolted to the top of the block side of the motor mount.

The mystery bolt goes in that shiney hole lookking through the 5:00 position hole on the pulley. It looks like some sort of plastic L bracket that a bolt goes through and threads into the block. I have to drive from Maine to Long Island NY tomorrow, and I'm just wondering if I should be concerned.

i dont recall what that is on the top of my head. however, near the 7 o block position on the pulley, there should be a grounding bolt for the engine mount bracket. doesnt look like there is one from the pic

the bolt that is missing is only holding thw wire harness
if there is any movement its very minimal and shouldn't do anything bad
the other hole that is partially covered on the pic by the abs pump should have a ground wire attached to it
check the area to see if a wire is hanging around that area

Yep it was a wiring harness. Much thanks. BTW the ground is fine, ya just can't see it in the pic, other than the washer.

Also it appears the noise I was experiencing was caused by a busted motor mount. I got the car from Prime Acura/Mazda/Ford/Blah blah blah in Saco Maine. As part of the deal they were supposed to do the 105k maintenance. After getting the car they would only do the water pump and timing belt. I had to argue with them to even get plugs thrown in. When they did the job they left one of the bolts for my passenger side motor mount cap just laying in the hole. I fiixed that, but then the wire harness screw came out as well. So as it turns out another engine mount broke, they never changed the accessory belt, and I'm guessing they left the other mount loose and it broke. $341.00 later from Smithtown Acura, who did an awesome job, the car runs like it did before Prime got their hands on it. They changed the accessory belt, the broken mount and replaced that screw. All the noise is gone and my power is back. I'm assuming I was losing all my torque from the mount being busted.

I guess none of those things were of Prime importance.
