Hey guys,

I just recently purchased a 05 WDP with a 6MT. One thing I noticed about the car is that it idles very rough. When i sit in the driver seat, just letting the engine run, I can feel something pounding. I've put my hand on the engine bay too, and it feels like something is knocking??

Also, the engagement for the clutch from N to 1st is very weired. I have to let go of the clutch almost all the way for it to engage. Is it suppose to be like that?

I'm scarrrrrreed...

Any ideas? The car has 73,300 KM's on it.

 

There's also a pretty loud clicking sound that I hear coming from the left side of the engine, If that helps?

Is your check engine light on?

 

No, there isn't a check engine light on

 

Take in it for service. Sounds like like you've got bad mounts.

 

Is the pounding worse when it is first started? Sounds like your clutch is just about toast in regards to having a lot of travel before engaging.

 

If it's the clutch than whewww, Cause I was planning on purchasing an aftermarket one anyways. But if its the mount's what am I looking at for costs? I've asked a few friends as well, and their telling me it's most likely the mounts.
