Throttle cable adjustment..holy shoot
So I adjusted my throttle cable..super easy and what a damn difference!

the TL is drive by wire. so there is inherently a lag by default.
all you're doing is taking out the slack at the throttle cable which has been well documented for over 20 years on various different cars. I had first learned of this "trick" on my 1999 corolla

I adjusted my cable too. Just took out the slack. The effect is that it takes out the "dead spot" at the top of the gas pedal. Which many BMW's need to do also.
