Tailights, Side Markers, and More Randomly Turned Off
I have an 04 TL, automatic, with about 110,000 miles on. I'm lowered on Function and Forms Type 1's, and I'm pretty low.
Just now driving down the street I hit a dip in the road and my chassis scraped and possibly upper control arms hit me wheel well. Right as I hit that my Tailights, interior radio lights, side markers, corner lights, license plate light all turned off and now they won't turn back on. My hazards also don't stay on. When I press them the blink once, and that's it. I'm gonna try taking my negative battery terminal out and have everything reset. I'm out right now,
But can anyone explain what the hell may have happened?

Do you have any mods that might be related to any of those lights?

Thank you for your help, man. Yes, my license plate lights have blue lights in them. That's it. No other mods that have to do with those specific lights. But I put those lights in like almost a year ago. And I'm a noob to this kinda stuff, so I don't know what you mean by a short, ha.

It's very strange for a short to happen if you didn't mess with any wiring, as most of the OEM wiring is secure with a wire loom and electrical taped.
When a short happens, that usually means that a positive wire touched another wire it wasn't supposed to, and it is still touching right now which is why you're still having a short.
I would check some easily accessed connections starting from the trunk area such as your license plate lights and then move onto the tail lights.
Hope you figure it out!
Maybe after another drive it'll loosen up the wires that are touching and you'll be good.
