Tail Lights won't go off

Hey All

My sister took my old 05 TL and last night she came home and said the tail lights wont go off. I am going over to check it out but she said the brake lights go on and off just fine, the headlights and marker lights are out up front but the whole back is lit up. I had her disconnect the battery for 15 minutes and reconnect but no luck. It has been disconnected all night to save the battery and I am hoping when I hook it back up, everything is fine but just in case it isn't, what could this be?

I had installed the type S tails well over a year ago and never had any problems so I can't imagine it is them but...

it might be a faulty brake switch, but not 100% sure since when my brake switch went bad, I had no rear brake lights. Are the reverse lights on too?

If theres a fuse for it just pop it out and reconnect it. its much easier than disconnecting the battery.
