Car Stalls In Reverse

Twice now my 06 TL has stalled (engine cut off) while backing out of a parking space. I just bought it from an Acura dealer as a certified car with 26K miles. The car appears to be in excellent condition, everything serviced. It is under warrenty, so I am not too worried at this point. Just wondering if anybody has had these experiences, and where to begin the trouble shooting process?

idle might be too low, but ive never heard of anyone having this problem. hopefully its nuthing major and the dealer can fix it in a couple hrs, worse case scenario you'll get a loaner

It normally idles around 1000 rpms. I read some stuff about ignition coil problems with Acura cars, but the 06 was not covered in those re-calls. I will call the service advisor today and see what he says.

Thanks for the advice all. I went to the dealer today and they ran every test they could, didn't find anything abnormal. Of course while I was at the dealer a guy backed into my car and did $600 in damage to the bumper. You just can't win sometimes.

I traded in my S2000 in for the TL. I went back to the Honda dealer to get some money back on my warrenty right after the Acura dealer finished with it. It was just parked in their lot when a guy turning around in the parking lot hit it. At least he was honest and stayed until I came out. $585 to repaint the bumper for a few scratches.
