when i press the brakes a couple of the lights don't light up.. what do i need to fix this?

instead of closing this thread, share with the rest of us what you did.
what were the symptoms in the first place, your first post was kinda vague.
was the LED circuit board out?

 

You have 2 choices---Buy the part new from Acura or find one used (check with AckTL05).
Acura will not replace these under warranty as they are considered a bulb which makes it a "wear item".
Replacing it is not too difficult, but you have to drop the rear bumper to get to the bolts holding the tail light in. Check any of the tail light swap threads for pics and info.
One more note---be gentle with the board. I broke mine swapping in my TL-S tails. Don't force anything---if it doesn't seem to fit, take it apart and see why.

Thats correct.
Like I mentioned, PM AckTL05. He does custom tail lights and may have one he can part with. I believe Acura wanted like $105 for a new one.

Weird..? Sounds like it might've been shorting out somewhere?
