Still No Fix For Noisy Front End
Still No Fix For Noisy Front End
# times now I have been to the dealership they have put 76 miles on my car in total and still they cant find what is causing my clanking noise at low speeds below 25 mph in the right front area when going over pot holes bumps etc etc . AlL I can get from the tech is "THAT IS NOT NORMAL"
ALL IN ALL I would have to say the purcahse of this 07 type S was a huge mistake , I have had a battery replaced, Running boards on the driver side , A rim, Fuel relay , driver side seat , I should have went with the Infinity or the Lexus

It may be in your suspension
I was just in an accident and the guy hit me in the front left wheel. I had the car repaired but there was a rattling noise in that wheel. You can tell its that wheel by driving on a slightly rough patch or a very slight bump (i.e. entering a driveway). It was obvious to me that it was that wheel because that's what got repaired, but you may have the same problem without it being so obvious. try slowly riding up a slight drave way curb at an angle to see if it happens on one wheel or the other. If you can pinpoint that, then you know its something in the suspension. When I took it back to get it fixed they had to send it to a racing specialty shop. They said that the suspension wasn't set right or something stupid like that and that's all it was. If it seems like you're having the same issue but you can't get the dealer to figure it out, give me a buzz and I'll try get the name of the shop that fixed mine and they might be able to talk to your dealer or whomever.
Good Luck,
Mike
