Steering Wheel- slight vibration at high speeds

I have a 2006 TL. I recently had my brakes changed and a vibration appeared in the steering wheel, very slight. It comes and goes and gets worse at some points. I had an alignment done and tire rotation and balance but the problem still persists. Has anybody else had this problem or any suggestions on how to fix it. Thanks

Remove the brakes and rotors and sand down the face of the hub, and the inside and outside of the rotor where the lug holes are.

See if that helps

no it does not, i just recently had my brakes changed so they are solid, it just is a vibration when going around 75-85, when you hit the gas it goes away only when you are going those exact speeds

It sounds like a wheel/tire balance issue- the balance is off. When the balancing was done, was it on a Road Force machine? It may be possible that one of the balance weights fell off too.

Quick way to check: switch front tires to rear and vice versa to see if the vibration is eliminated.

rebalance the tires on the car or move them front to back and see if the problem goes away

I , like many here at Azine have had the vibration issue at highway speeds (70+) and for the longest time that problem had zero solutions. Thought we tried everything...welll....here's the fix.

Get your tires off and send it to a Hunter Tire Balancer. It'll spin it at 100+ mph and check to see if they're straight. Balance them right and you'll be set. Probably is a good idea to do them to new tires just to be safe. Now, my TL-S drives perfectly at 80+ and braking is good too. Though....stock brembos do kind of fade braking at excessive speeds. (so don't try it or you'll be buying new rotors)
