Start up issue

Ok. So I ve noticed this happening couple weeks ago. It doesnt happen every time just sometimes. When I turn the key the engine turns over but then it dies. I searched the forum but couldnt find an answer. Maybe someone will have similar issue or have a solution for it.

I ve been trying to record it for the last couple of days and it happened again today. Heres the link

have you try jump starting it? if that doesn't work you might need a new starter.

Doesn't look like starter, starter either works or it doesn't. It wouldn't cause the car to fire and die. Still original battery? Checked the battery terminals? checked your plugs ?

but from the video it doesn't even fire, its just turning on the electric stuff. from my own experience it was my starter and i never had a problem since. long story short i thought it was my battery so i had someone jump start it that didnt work. had it towed and last restort was the starter. replaced it the next day and everythings been working fine

The car does start. Its just that sometimes when I turn the key the engine will turn over and then it would die. The video is crappy quality cuz of my phone but if you listen closely you can hear it dying in the beginning and then when I turn the key it starts.

When I bought the car, about 2k miles ago the dealer just replaced the batter, or so he claims, but I will check the terminals and spark plugs. Thanks for suggestions

It is absolutely not the starter or battery or anything to do with the starting system.
