Squeeking noises from glove box and passenger side seat railings!
Hi all,
I have this problem where excessive noises are coming from the glove box. It sounds like the plastic between the actual box itself is rubbing against something. I took this back to the dealer and they just bandaged the problem. Note the word "bandaged" and not "fixed". What they did was they put 3M tape/foam in between the box door and the box itself (really lame and ugly). I was furious about it and they said they have no other solutions to it. Don't get me wrong. This is not yet fixed. It's still making those noises and it's driving me nuts.
And to add to that, the passenger side seat railings are squeeking when I accelerate/brake. Again I took this issue to the dealer and all they did was take the seat out and applied lubricant to the rails. Still that did not fix it. Any help here?
