Squeaking Noise on Windows

Getting major squeaking noise when rolling my windows up and down.

Anyone have the same problem?

Any ideas on how to fix it?

Thanks in advance!

i have a similar problem...to make matters worse, my driver's side window squeaks most of the time when it's rolled up or completely closed. mine can be heard especially when the radio is off. I'm looking for someone who's got a similar problem as well and who can offer ideas to fix.

Try applying a silicone-based lube or Shin-Etsu grease in the window tracks first.

My 2007 TLS had the same problem. Took to the Acura dealer under warranty and they replaced both front window tracks at no charge under a "Silent Recall." Take it in to the dealer and mention this.

There are a couple of TSBs, but I don't recall if there is one for noisy windows. The TSB for recaltricant/sticking windows recommends lubing the tracks as a first step to see if that remedies the problem.

The TSBs can be accessed in the 3G Service Dept. thread.

Shin-Etsu is about $35.00 at the dealer lol.

Anyone know if White Lithium Grease would work as well?

I have the same issue. Please update if the Shin-Etsu works. What if you have the moleskin, or does this even affect where you apply the Shin-Etsu? Thanks in advance

Check the thread link I posted. Doesn't apply to moleskin.
