a-spec bumper doesn't line up ?

ok so i had my aspec kit since septemer and i decided to wait until the spring to install it ... so this weekend was a good weekend to start to install the kit. i had my dad help me out a bit, and it came out perfect expect for the fact that the back kit doesnt line up with the back old bumper on the sides of the car! i wanted to see if i was the only one that ran into that problem. we made sure to align it correctly and when i noticed that it wasnt lining up with the old bumper line it was too late to correct it in any way.. here are the pics, i'll prob take better ones , but its basically about half an inch between the old bumper line and the kit ... dont mind the filthy girly trunk

still super happy with the final result

oo ok that makes me feel better

make sure that you line it up properly and as well as take your time scotch taping the pull off adhesive side! and everything else was it pretty simple!

did you take the bumper off? I know you have to take the bumper off to do the install, but is it necessary?

how much did this rear piece run you? is it still off or did you use 3M tape to fix the issue?

as for the bumper, you must take it off , because ur gona need to drill 4 holes in the old bumper and have the new piece screwed to it ... so you must take off the bumper. I personally did not need to use the 3m tape. i bought the whole kit , i just ended up installing the bumper last night, but i already put the whole kit on. I got it from an ebay store from an acura dealership. heres the link if you need it http://stores.ebay.com/Open-Road-Acura-of-Wayne-Parts
