My speakers have static when the car is on but not if the car is off. And you hear a whine when I pick up rpms.

Sorry for asking this question because I remember searching the forums a few months back and found a few threads about this issue but I can't find them anymore.

So if my memory serves me correct, it should be the alternator or bad ground right? What is the fix to this issue?

 

you probably have either a bad ground or a loose wire that is picking up the feedback from the car.
