Spark Plug Wires

Spark Plug Wires
Hi everyone! I was wondering have anyone try to replace/change their spark plug wires? The reason why I’m asking is because while I was trying to unplug the wire clips from the ignition coils. The side clips on the snapped and broke due to how old and dried it was. I have a base navigation 07 TL btw.

It's unlikely to help with performance but if the clip is snapped, it might be a good idea to replace the broken ones just so they don't wiggle loose. Your engine doesn't have spark plug wires per se. It's just a wiring harness for the coil packs.
I've never had to replace one. With the chance of spark jumping, I'd be hesitant to splice something like that in. Unless there's some way to disconnect/reconnect a new connector, I'd probably just consider finding a used harness on eBay or something like that. Or just jimmy rig it by using some electrical tape so it doesn't slide off.
If you did spice a new connector on, I'd probably do it well behind the connector, back several inches on the harness. Then insulate it really well - both the wires from each other as well as from the block or anything that would ground the connection.

No spark plug wires as stated above, only ignition coils and a wire harness. I can't really tell based off of your description, but it sounds like you broke a connector that plugs into the ignition coil? If so, I wouldn't recommend cutting a splicing a used/new connector. I would just depin and repin the plug with a new/used one (there are videos online that can help with this), no need to buy a new harness (which I believe would be the entire engine harness). If it was the plug on the coil, then you need a new coil.
I don't think Honda/Acura sells the plug by itself, but you can get new ones or used ones on ebay and other sites and they typically have some wire with them, but you can just remove the pins from your old connector and the new connector and swap over the "shell" of the plug, a lot of Honda/Acura share the same ignition coil plug, which would making finding a replacement fairly easy. I may even have some extra ones sitting my box of honda connectors. lol

You can de-pin the 3 pins out of the connector and plug in a new one. They sell these on ebay if you need one to practice with. You just need a small pocket screwdriver to stick into the right place to take the pins out.
