Sound from driver side front end after changing rack and pinion

This sound started after replacing the rack and pinion. It only happens at 3k rpm and under heavy acceleration.

here is a link to my Reddit post with the video for the sound.

You needed to drop the entire sub-frame to change out the rack, correct? That is a BIG job, you could've missed anything reinstalling everything. Time to look over 100% of everything you touched for that job.

It honestly sounds like a heat shield of some sort rattling. Exhaust, rotor dust shield, etc

I removed the rear subframe bolts completely and lowered the front ones. I had to replace the mid subframe mounts while at it as they were split in half. I’ll jack it back up this weekend when I’m off and take a look. But other than this one scraping sound there isn’t any other issue. No play in the wheel, no bumps or creaks.

check all your bolts such as motor mounts, sway bar links, etc. Verify everything is tight before jumping to the parts cannon!

Also, I'm not sure what mid-subframe mounts you mention, but most of them need to be pointing in a certain direction or installed in a particular way to avoid clunks! For example LCA bushings have arrows pointing to what direction they need to be installed in.
