I am going to take my (well my moms I am only 17 ) Early build 04 TL to the dealer to get some, well lots of service done. It needs the following:

"New" front seats and rear seats have excessive but prints.
Can someone confirm it is just an easy tightning of some clips for the rear seats?

I have talked to ACS about this and they tell me 04 seats can be put on and not have but wrinkles and under no circumstance will they authorize 05 seats. My dealer has told me 04's can not fix it and Acura needs to authorize a TSB for 05 covers so I am going to let my dealer battle this out with acura could get intresting

Sunroof Rattles constantly really loudly
It has already been once but they didn't fix it. Isn't there a TSB for this?

The trunk makes a creaking kinda noise when you open it
I think I am going to try to tackle this before it goes to the dealer

The 3rd brake light rattles like crazy.
I am going to give a cd to the dealer with songs that mess with it. The main song that kills it is Mike Jones: Still Tippin at volume 8+ Equalizer normal except Bass +3 and Sub +3. At that setting and up it rattles all over and u can even hear it clearly outside the car. Is there a TSB for this?

And I am going to mention that my tires are once again shot, damn EL-42s
Dealer replaced the first set at 12K for free. Car is at 27K now so they lasted 15K miles. I don't really expect them to replace these but I thought I would let them know and see if they can do something and work with me etc. and don't worry under no circumstances are more EL42's going on.

And I would like to say even with all these problems I love my TL and think it has a long life ahead of it. I will update you on anything that happens!

 

Well sounds like you and your parent have some good times at the dealership. I took a trip from Wisconsin to Altanta a 13 hour trip. The leather did stretch from ass prints but it only took a couple of days before it was ok. 03 TL-s good luck with everything and let us know how everything goes.
