04 tl , 80k miles.
i hear a soft metal scraping noise coming from the front right side. the noise stops when I press the brakes.
Took it to the dealer and they said the break where fine nothing seems to be rubbing, front pads are 4mm, rear are 7mm (they did not hear the noise). They did say the front pads where frozen to the rotors so they cleaned the break components and lubricated the caliper slider pins.
as soon as i drove it off the sound is still their (metal scraping softly). they also mentioned the lower control arm bushing sliced but did not mention that was the source of the sound.
any ideas on what it could be.

 

i had a light scraping noise and it was actually my rotors. i replaced the rotors and did not have the issue any more

 

your brakes might need to be re lubed.

 

I had the same problem but it was only when I turned left, I got a tire rotation and now it seems to have stopped...

 

Took it to a small shop and it was the rotors. I'm wondering why the dealer did not find the issue.

have the same issue pretty bad squeaking when turning left/veering to the left at low speeds
