Slow 3 to 4 shift on AT (2005 TL)

I'm having an issue with a slow engaging 3 to 4 shift when driving slowly. I have replaced the pressure switches about 10k ago. I was thinking it might be them again. Which switch controls the 3 to 4 shift? Also, I'm using redline ATF type f

your trans is BURNING, n Slippping! thank redline for it. i warn so many members to stay away from redline because it contain no friction modifiers that honda acura needs.

OH no! if you see a KKD post just completely disregard.
how do you know its slow engaging if your driving slow. flaring or slipping at all or just a lazy shift?

don't worry. i know he's a troll. anyway. lazy shift at low throttle. only 3-4 shift, nothing else. im thinking about replacing the 4th gear solenoid. anymore than low throttle its fine. odd.

PLEASE do a 3x3 flush and reset your ECU, your issue should be resolved. Do not replace those sensors again, those sensors unlike people think only need replacing when the "D" light starts to flash..

^it's a 3x3 drain and fill.

how can you tell him his issue will be resolved if he does a 3x3 and resets his ECU? you have nothing to support that theory based on what we know from OP.

do not replace the sensors again? i assure you, i would not wait until a flashing "D" appears on my dash before doing something about it. it's called preventative maintenance for a reason.

OP, when was your last drain and fill? you might want to add some redline d4 in there with the type-f. have you read inaccurates thread on redline fluid? try and follow his breakdown and get the right kinds of fluid in there.

Thanks for the input! I already ordered another 4th gear sensor. As for the fluid, I did my last 3x3 with redline type f about 10k ago. I think I should get some D4 in there because I think it may just be the lack of a friction modifier in there at this point. Also I would like to mention that I have an external transmission cooler, just for the sake of mentioning if it makes any difference.

I will read the thread and look into a another 3x3 soon. If there is anymore (real, not KKD) input, I welcome it!
