I have not experienced that. Is there a dealership you can show it to?

I can feel mine on the inside, the noise it makes is what tipped me off to even look at it.

Interesting. I usually exit through the window or sunroof.

Read about it around here looong time ago but I don't remember what was the reason... did you search about it?

Usually A emblem on the steering weel peals off but door handles are very rare...

yes I did search the forum....but never found it....All 4 handles are bubbled up and the drivers side is peeling off now. After reading the link that was posted in a later post, I think I'm going to remove handles and try painting with a chrome or silver wheel paint and then clear coat.

by the way the same plating is coming off of the A/C vents.

I pulled the door panels off and took out the handles. peeled off the silver platting, wiped down with brake cleaner and sprayed with chrome paint from auto parts store. I have to say the handles came out very good and was very pleased with the color of the paint....not even close to a chrome finish, but a great match to the other silver plated items inside the car.

Just remember to allow the paint to dry long enough before handling.

I think this may be a common Honda/Acura problem. Haven't experienced this with an Acura yet, but with an old Accord I drive as a beater, it has happened to. Granted the car was about 15 years old when it did happen.
