Were you able to thread the new spark plug in and torque it to spec?

Chances are the spark plug threads are gone.

the weird thing is the new plug wouldnt tighten up in that cylinder so I took one from another cylinder and it went in fine. I need to know why this is happening in the first place in the same cylinder?

Either bring it to a Mechanic or take the head off and bring it to a machine shop, they may be able to repair the threads with the head still in the car so check with them first.

threads are gone! it can be repaired without removing the head but it takes skill and experience. make sure you have that available, or pull the head.

That's not too bad of a price imo.

Over time, the spark plugs get loose and/or poor assembly from the plant.
When they get loose, what usually happens is the combustion gasses go up into the threads and fuses the spark plug to the head and when you go to pull out the plug. You'll pull the threads along with the plug if you're not patient.

The plug shooting out is a little more rare to see but it happens. So take out all the coils and check the other spark plugs to see if they're tight, unless the dealer does it for you.
