Shiny seat

Aside from all the butt prints threads - anyone notice their seat bottoms getting shiny? No, I do not use any junk stuff - just an occasional Lexol. I have not had "real" leather in a car before, so I am not sure how it wears. Just seems to getting shiny in the seat bottom driver side. I guess I don't care cause when I am in the car I cannot see it and when I am out of the car I usually do not hang around my car. Just wondering if this was normal. I do not lexol all that often - is that the problem?

thanks

I guess you are using Lexol conditioner. Use some cleaner and a soft brush to get all the body salts out before you condition. Also use a soft cotton towel to get all the dirst after brushing. Then condition as usual and you'll restore the rough and soft look.

Leather does develop a patina or shine from wear. It is more obvious on some leathers and colors than others, but is is normal.
