Post Ideas Needed: What should we do with the 05 engine vibration

Guys, again the infamous engine 1500 rpm vibration. The service bullitin has been posted and all 04 TL can have the dealer to install damper kit as a fix (or potential fix).

But we got stuck with the 05TLs that have vibration. Sercive bullitin doesn't apply and dealer won't do anything about it. Today I decided I can't tolerate it any more. A school bus is quieter/smoother than my TL.

Should we do a petition about it and try bring ti to the attention? Or we should just try ourselves to loosen the bolt bracket under the car?

What did they tell you when you took it in? Did they refuse to fix it altogether or just refuse to apply the TSB fix? It could be a tire issue. I have vibration at 50-60MPH after the car has been sitting for a while. It goes away after the car is driven for about 5 miles or so.

Mine is purely engine vibration, it happens in every gear, 1500rpm.

Visited 4 dealers around philly, all refuse to apply TSB and say the droning/vib is a normal characteristic.

Sorry to hear that no one will fix it. Maybe a call to Acura Customer Service is in order.

File for lemon law!

Acura does not know how to fix this, even the TSB for 04's does not remove the vibration completely, just makes it better.

Just had the fix done 9-29-05. Not much better still have the stock tires will be getting new ones soon to see if this helps. It worked for some. Very pissed at Acura for having this car with so many problems. Just going to have to wait for redo and hope its better than this.
