Shift lock.. No Navi or Radio HELP!!!

Hey Guys, I have a 06' Nighthawk black TL 5AT w/ Nav with 38,000 miles. Last night when i was driving, i pulled up to a gas station and i went to put the shifter into P and realized that the shifter was stuck and couldn't go pass Neutral . So i opened up the drivers manual and it said i was in shift lock and i had to turn off the car.. use the key in the slot near the shifter to move it. I did that and shifted into P. Yet when i turned the car on, The Radio+ Nav screen were off..the temperature screen was on but no text and my 12V output where i attach my radar detector was off too. I dont think its a tranny problem cuz I turned it on and shifted [with my house key in the shift key slot] and the car still function properly [so i could get home at least]. I read up on other forums that it may be a brake switch, but why would it affect my Nav+radio and 12V? I checked and the brake still works. Could it be a fuse? My friends also think that my aftermarket sub could have shorted something out..maybe fuse related..Could someone pls help?

check your fuses, I think its fuse 32 that can cause all of this...

well im not sure which of the two things i did fixed it, but heres what i did:

i added a fuse to the empty #32 slot in my fuse box

changed both fuses on my add a circuit for slot #31

and disconnected both terminals on my battery for about two minutes...violla works like a charm.

this problem happened to me because i changed my battery to a yellow top(which kinda doesnt fit very well), my ground wire came loose and i found out last night when i tried to turn my car on...thx anyways guys.
