Rotor Replacement Issue

I have read that since the annoying screw that is on the rotor gets rusted, drilling the head of the bolt off will make the rotor come out.

So i did that, but yet the rotor is still in place and i cannot replace it.

Any help would be great!

Front or rear? If it's the rear, make sure the ebrake is off. For any of them, a hammer tap to the hub area while pulling on the rotor slightly will usually free them.

yep, i second the parking brake check if you're doing rears.

My friend and I did all 4 rotors on his '07 RL just this past weekend.

If you still can't take it off after disengaging the parking brake (or fronts, w/e), you can use the bolt that holds the brake line to the body and screw it into the rotor's hub, pushing the rotor away from the hub. If you look at the rotor there are 4 threaded holes, one pair has a taper for the 2 assembly screws, and the other 2 holes do not have a taper. Screw the bolt into that one and it'll push the rotor away from the hub. You might want to lube it to make it easier too (just remember to clean it afterwards if you plan on reusing the rotor for whatever reason.)

Check this post: https://acurazine.com/forums/showpos...8&postcount=47

Also make sure the screw heads are drilled ALL THE WAY OUT .... completely gone.
