Revving issue? VIDEO INCLUDED

So I'm not sure if this is normal or not but when I rev it in neutral/park, it revs fine but when the rpms are coming back down, right before it drops back to idle, it revs by itself like ever so slightly, then drops back down. I made a video to show what I mean. This only happens in neutral/park and not during driving.

I just went out to to see if my base did that and it dident. I doubt its much of a cause for concern but id be innterested to know why it does that.

Mine does it worse when it's in the relearn process (after losing power) but it's always there a little. It catches the fall near 1k rpm and lowers to idle.

There are many reasons why especially if you've changed things like a larger TB and even a lightweight pulley. It's partially normal too, it's just the severity that can change with certain mods.

My car started doing this when I installed the 3.7 throttle body. When I calibrated it with the HDS tool, it went away and consistently returns to 750rpms where it's supposed to be. Used to do exactly what yours does though. Sucked with a manual.

probably an exaggerated effect of the engine or computer rather reapplying throttle to keep an idle.

i can feel sort of the same thing in a low gear and coasting to a stop, just above 1k it will lurch slightly or i get the sensation that engine braking is reduced. i'm assuming it's the throttle kicking back in.

Especially in gear, a slight surge around 1,000rpm is the injectors coming back on and the engine coming back to life.

Those with exhaust can hear it. Under deceleration, when it's at it's loudest is when the injectors are off. That pretty quiet transition area or popping during decel is the injectors still on but the throttle at idle.
