Resonating Road Noise from Rear

Hi all, I'm new to this forum so I hope my question doesn't come across silly. I have aftermarket rims and rubber on my 2005 TL that up until now have seemed to be working well. They are not warped and the tires are nitrogen filled. However, for some reason I have noticed lately that there is a resonating noise coming from the rear when I get near 100km+ (60mph).

Any potential diagnosis would be greatly appreciated. Perhaps it is normal....I just thought I would ask all you experts out there.

Many thanks.

^^ I agree, noise will typically increase as the tires wear down.

The tires don't appear to be worn. Probably only have 30,000 kms on them.

Rotate the tires front to rear and see if the noise dissipates. Run the palm of your hand over the tread one way then the other and check closely for uneven tread wear.

Thanks Turbonut. Sounds like a simple enough way to check.
