Replacing the starter on m 05 TL

So for the past month my starter has been getting worse and worse on startup occasionally not turning over at all even though all the interior lights are on. I have been able to just pop the hood and tap the starter with a wrench to get it to unbind and start right up.
This method is becomg less and less useful though as even after doing that this morning the starter was still hesitant. So I plan to replace it next week, In the past I have ordered all replacement parts from rock auto and plan to do the same this time.
Here is the one I plan on purchasing not sure if anyone else has replaced their with non OEM parts but I am just looking for any suggestions as to what to go with. I have watched install videos and am confident in my own ability to perform the job.
But if their are any useful tips anyone wants to share I am all ears.

Looks as good as the next. I haven't had to replace the starter so no tips on my end. It seems pretty accessible from the top of the engine bay so it shouldn't be too bad. Just remember to remove the positive terminal from the battery first

FWIW: Consult Youtube, there are many videos posted, regarding the process. Not all that difficult, with basic hand tools.

Use a torque wrench when tightening the starter. If I remember correctly, the bolts go into aluminum. I wouldn't want to over tighten those bolts and ripping out the threads out of that housing. that would be a nightmare.

Amazon Amazon

I purchased this starter from Amazon, and it's been working flawlessly the past 1.5 years.
The hardest part is the removal of the battery tray. There are two bolts as I recall, and these can only be reached from underneath the car.

FWIW: No Need, to get underneath the car, to remove the battery box. Their are, however, two bolts, securing the box, from underneath the battery tray. You can't see these two, from the top, You have to "feel" for them.
