Replacing 12V+ accessory cover?

You know.... right below the radio, there is the carbon / wood door that lifts up and there is a lighter socker in there?

Well, mine broke off (the little spring loaded flap covering the socket) - and I want to replace it. Any ideas? I looked at it, but it doesn't seem that obvious to me.

I got that part, but I don't see any magical release to get that part off. I'd hate to break it anymore trying to pry something that was screwed down or vice versa
