Rebuilt transmission causes P2647 CEL
I need some advice as I don't know whether to be confused or furiated right now, but here's the situation.
I took my car to AAMCO because I had transmission problems on my 2005 TL 5AT. I know, stupid move #1. I spent about an arm and leg to get it rebuilt and fixed just so I can say it was done the right way, get what you pay for kinda thing. Well I drive the car no more than 40 miles, 20 miles the day I picked it up and 20 after my way home from work and CEL, VSA, and /!\ lights come on. I call AAMCO immediately and tell them the car has lit up. They ask hows the tranny? runs fine, but i'm not pushing the car. So he suggest take it back it just needs to be resetted. After hanging up on him I decided to floor it and give it some umph and bam, it stays in gear and revs just like when the tranny was faulty before. Called AAMCO back, told him what I just experimented and how under 3k rpm's the tranny is smooth but when I put some gas to it at 6K+ rpm's it bogs and doesn't want to shift. So I cruise back to AAMCO and drop off the car that evening.
The next morning he calls and tells me its not transmission related and that the CEL is bring up P2647 which is engine related. I lightly express to him wtf basically, because now its not their fault and the he says its "coincidental" and that it's a separate problem I'd have to pay for. But wait, he feels sorry for me and tells me he'll just charge me an hour job on a 2 hr job + the part (he quotes at $100, but i see it on acuraoemparts.com for $52) and says $200 he can fix it. Let me remind you that my arm and leg rebuilt tranny cost me $3600 w/new motor mounts.
So the advice I need from you guys, which is hard for me to explain is that his mechanic is the one responsible and I know it! It's no coincidence when originally the codes from the scanner showed transmission problems and now it shows engine problems not too long after being put back together.
I need in words on how that it's very possible that when his mechanic disassembled my transmission, that he did touch parts related to the oil pressure switch that could have been damaged.
help help asap so I go to the shop today and tell him he needs to fix this without me paying another cent!

It seems likely that they damaged the switch/sensor during the teardown/reinstall.
Personally I think it's sounds pretty chicken-shit that they'd dodge the issue given the fact it came up pretty much as soon as you left their shop.
