Dome lights not working in auto position

Problem is one day my dome light's stopped coming on in the auto position..ie when you open doors or unlock car with key fob.

Light's still work in all on position and individually, but not when you open any door.

Door lights still work... And i checked all fuse's and settings in vehicle information center and everything is fine but lights just wont come on in the center positon.

I even called acura and they said i would have to bring it in to have them look at it.

Can anyone please help...

That's a tough one.. Maybe the switch has gone bad that controls when they come on? You could test the wire in the dome lights while the door is open, to see if it even has any power going to it?

That would be the first place I would start, esp since the lights work when the switch is in other positions.

No, still have not fixed the problem. Did not test anything yet. To lazy and no money to take to dealer.

If you figured it out will you let me know?

How did you know you fried the circuit? Did you test the switch and then do more investigating? $65 on ebay is cheaper than what I have been finding online to replace the switch assy.
You say ECU, you only had to replace the fuse box not the computer right?
