Rear motor mount hole stripped. What to do?

Ive been hunting down a few clicking noises on a used 07 tl type s MT I bought 4 months ago. I noticed the bolt above is missing. I ordered a new one and went to install it. Don't ya know it doesn't tighten and keeps turning. Is there an easy way to get that piece that bolts to the block off so I can replace it or tap larger? This had aftermarket innovative mounts installed and am wondering how long this can go before it messes anything up? It seems to sit in the pocket and not move around much. Hard to tell though when driving it. The motor dampener is attached to that stripped block as well...

you'll need to remove the mount to reveal access to the engine cover. then you can remove engine cover that bolts to the block. no easy way or tricks; just gotta go in there and do it

i stripped my front cover to the block. i ended up using locktite on the bolt that attaches the motor mount to the cover. so maybe that's what you can do..instead of removing everything.. just locktite the threads of the bolt and slip it in there

i dont know how well it worked, cuz shortly after, i binded the block by forgetting to install a pin to the crank. when I say shortly after, it was maybe a month where I had used the locktite bolt. and it held up great until i blew the motor and just replaced the whole block

I wonder if there is enough meat to helicoil #4 where bolt #44 goes. I'm still not seeing how this #4 piece can fit through any spaces of the car to come out. Looks like I'd have to remove the intermediate shaft and j pipe

Good question. I know people have been able to extract the mount (not without some contortion and cussing), so you should probably be able to get that part out as well??

If you bought that car from an individual, that really sucks because I'm guessing they had to know that that hole was stripped.

The fun of owning a preowned car right? I might try to drill and tap it for a helicoil while it is up in there. I still will take it off the block but try to maneuver it so I can get a drill to it and tap. Should be fun :/

UPDATE: I was able to take the engine torque dampener off and get to all 4 bolts that hold the bracket onto the block. They were a pain and I had to use a few different extensions and wrenches. I ended up having it hang down enough that I could drill it and place a helicoil into the end. Not too bad of a job but took awhile. I may need a new engine torque damper as that may be why the bolt stripped out. I'm not sure...
