Rear frozen rotor

So I'm in the middle of changing rear pads and rotors and my rear passenger rotor is stuck and I can't get it off for my life after an hour of beating. Is there a secret? Any quick help would be appreciated... back to hammering...

Thanks.

You've removed the 2 retaining screws and parking brake is in the off position, lever down?
If so, put some lug nuts on the studs to protect the threads, then hit around the "hat" area between the studs. If the rotor rocks but won't come off, you'll need to loosen the parking brake shoes.

So how do you loosen the brake shoes? Wish this would have been noted in the DIY.

If you haven't found out, there is an access hole in the rotor, remove the plug and insert a flat screwdriver and turn the adjustment to loosen the shoes. Don't forget to readjust the shoes after doing the rotor replacement.
