I think I need a new clutch? Exedy clutch?
I'm a little over 82,000 kms and I noticed today that my clutch won't ingage.
If im in 5th or 6th gear around 2400 rpms and I step on the gas half way down or so, the rpms just fly up. Or if I'm in 2nd or 3rd and step on the gas atleast half way down, anything past 4,000 rpms & the rpms just fly up.
Does this mean I need a new clutch? Is there anything that I should replace besides the, pressure plate, clutch disc & release bearing?
Oh, and has anyone tried an exedy clutch? (I'm on a tight budget and can't afford to spend 1300 bucks on a clutch and flywheel kit)
Wayne,

The cheap Exedy clutches are terrible, weak around the torsion springs. Just go with the OEM. Daikin/Exedy is the OEM supplier, but the OEM parts are better quality.
Replace pressure plate, disc, release bearing. Resurface flywheel. Buy the parts from bernardiparts.com or acuraoemparts.com. Will be significantly cheaper than buying from your local dealer.
