Rattling noise coming from around the engine any solutions?

2007 Acura TL Type S

Im not sure if anyone has had this problem. When I turn on my engine for some reason there is a rattling noise coming from around the engine. And when the car is still and you rev the engine a bit it gets a little louder (not extremely loud). The noise is noticeable and a bit frustrating since the car is only 5 years old. There is no check engine light, the RPMs seem fine and have not had any mechanical problems so not sure why the noise is there. Took it to the dealership to get it looked at and they said it could be a heat panel that is loose but if they change it its not guaranteed that the noise will go away which will be a waste of money. If anyone has had this problem and can help me by telling me how they got it fixed I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

There are several possible culprits. The best place to start, imo, is the TSB page. If you browse the TSB topics you should find ~3 or so TSB's for engine noise, rattling, squealing. You can investigate those to see if any match your problem.

TSB Page: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/3g-tl-technical-service-bulletins-tsbs-3g-garage-j-016-a-613659/

If you want to access a particlular TSB, you MUST follow the instructions at the top of the first post on the TSB page.
