Unhappy Rattle Box! Help!!!

New owner of WDP 5AT w/Navi Ebony interior currently with 2500 miles that is nothing other than a vibrating/rattle!!! I've done a search but have found nothing relating to fixing the doors (both drivers and passenger).

What I've noticed that the metal trim and the plastic charcoal color trim vibrate like crazy with both driving & when the radio is on! Also the storage box on both doors do the same thing. I've found a fix (hopefully it will work) for the window rattle by putting the self adhesive foam on the outside trim/molding. But again nothing for the doors! Does anyone know of how I can remedy this? Do you guys think the dealer knows what to do?

Any help is greatly appriciated, I hate to get rid of this car because of Acura's poor interior quality on $35K car!!

Unfortunately, if the trim in the door panels are rattling, there is no true fix, but to replace the panels at the dealer. The rattle is coming from within the trim. Hope this helps......btw, if this makes you feel any better, while on a test drive about a month ago, I saw 3 tech's for Mercedes-Benz test driving an $135,000+ flagship sedan for a wind-noise and a rattle. They happen so take advantage of the warranty and get them taken care of.

The first post from an old tread solves the window rattle.

What about a rattle in the center of the dash? Do I want the dealer taking apart the dash and creating more rattles?

I must say rattles are the biggest disappointment.

Totally agree, the driving experience is great but the rattles ruin the car! I'm already thinking of trading next year for the GS 300!? I don't know if I can take another rattle/pop/buzz from these doors!!

That's what I did and I am soon to be an IS 350 owner. A $33k car that makes sounds like it has 200,000 miles on the odometer?!?! GTFO. The TL seems like it was assembled using Hyundai-like quality. Oh wait...that would be an insult to them as they handily beat Acura in the latest JD Power IQS. I guess Acura "just doesn't make them like they used to" but damn they have bluetooth technology

The center dash could be the center speaker. Try pressing on it when you hear the noise. If it is, folks have had success in popping it out and adding a bit of foam and/or felt tape.

If its the area around the center console, try to spray some silicone spray into the seams.

I tried the silicone.
It helps just a little and and for 1-2 weeks only.
Buy the way do you find normal to spray silicone inside and than breath it and all for your bloody 33000+ dollars?
I am sure your answer is no it is not normal.
