Gas mileage in city

Starting two or three weeks ago, my MID is showing really low gas mileage.
I haven't changed anything. I drive same routes in same manner.

I used to get 20MPG with 3000RPM shiftpoint.
Now I'm getting 16-17MPG with the same.

I thought it was AC or occasional high revving due to nice weather so I turned off AC and also tried conservative driving. I tried three or four different gas stations in combination of plus and premium gas.

I checked my air filter and it's not completely clogged yet. What could problem be? Shifts to ethanol?

I do city driving in SS only.
My TL is 2004 Nav with 19000 miles on it.
City - 13-15 mpg
HWY (after MID reset) - 29-31 mpg

I can get 13-14 in traffic jam. I'm saying it recently dipped. I have my oil 5% remaining and getting it changed tomorrow. I will see if that makes difference.

I'm getting about 17 MPG on a new TL. I just filled up with my third tank of gas. I live in a particularly high traffic area, so I'd say that the majority of my driving is in stop and go traffic.

My last three tanks full have averaged 20 MPG in around town, suburban driving. I don't baby it. I use SS a lot.

I have 5,000 miles and Mobil 1 10W-30.

Our TL is almost 3 months old, and we've made two 500 mile roundtrips in it, plus another 200 mile roundtrip. Don't know our exact mileage.

We're getting 18 - 19 in town, and 31 on the highway trips. We live in So CA, so we're using the a/c ALL the time.

Hubby's sniveling because our old trusty Camry got better mileage, but I'm still on my honeymoon with my TL. The audio, XM, navi-lady, and comfort all make up for lower mileage.

Same in town mileage, 28 on freeway (when it's moving above 40 mph in L.A. and suburbs).
Our old Camry V-6 was a reliable but softly-sprung appliance with overly-soft/unfirm cloth seats and worse mileage than the TL (but the best new car I could afford to buy for my dad at the time, before he gave up driving and gave the thing to me...I should have given him the BMW 325 ...); my wife and I were happy to wave goodbye to the Camry and don't miss it at all. Give hubby a chance and let him drive the TL a little; he'll come around!

I got 17-18 MPG around town until I got broken in about 5,000 miles.

I know get a steady 20 MPG around town and well over 30 on steady highway speeds of 65-75 MPH.

Acuras take a little while to break in and loosen up.
