Radio lights issue

Hey all,

I have a 2006 TL no/navi. I went to replace a light bulb on the driver side climate control (hotter/colder buttons). That bulb woks fine, but now I have several other lights out, including 3 of the 4 bulbs on the passenger's slide climate control, radio presets 1 & 2 (3-6 work), all of the radio source buttons, and the CD eject button (Vol, Scan, RPT, and Seek all work). I spoke with someone at the dealership, and he said it's common for other bulbs to go out when you replace one, so they usually just change them all at the same time.

I have no problem changing the climate control bulbs, but my question is, can you fix the bulbs in the radio without having to get a whole new radio (or motherboard)? That was the solution that the dealership offered, as they said the bulbs are built into the radio, and you can't get to them. I find it hard to stomach that a few $5 bulbs would require a new $1,000 radio.

Anyone have any experience here? I've done some searching, and haven't come with much outside of replacing the radio or the circuit board in the radio.

Thanks

Repair 04 08 Acura TL Radio Stereo 6 Disc Changer CD DVD Player 1TB3 1SB4 1TB2 | eBay

These guys will repair whatever is wrong with the radio. Also, they'll replace the CD changer unit which is the most common thing to go on these units.
