I recently have been topping off my PS fluid every 2-3 months since November now, and this is after rebuilding my PS pump myself (no leaks from the pump). In the quest to chase down leaks, I noticed that I may have been leaking fluid from here. Can someone confirm that this line is for PS fluid? And would I need to replace this? I did notice that the screw was a little 'loose' - in that I could turn it down about 4-5 turns before it got snug again.
It is ps line. The screw is one of two marked 21 in the attached. Make sure you check the other connections. I think there are five (21,21,34,34,34) screw type and three pinch type (24,24,9) in all.

Mine was leaking as well. I just tightened it and cleaned it to make it easier to check for leaks. Did not replace it as it is a cold winter here. The low-pressure side of the system uses 4 hoses. The one that is leaking for you is the passenger side of hose #14/#32 on the diagram (not sure why there are two part numbers but it may have something to do with the power steering recall I read about. My car has #32). It also looks the toughest to replace. That one runs about 33 dollars OEM if I recall. The other three were about 4-7 dollars. I figured I would replace mine this summer as they are old.
Any idea on how to replace? I tried to get a good look but it doesn't look like a lot of clearance if you go through the wheel well as it sits on/above the subframe. Maybe overhead? Wondering if the motor is blocking most of the access though

Mine stopped leaking when I tightened the clamp so I haven't given it too much thought. I assumed I would need to access the hose from under the car. There are a few fixtures (8, 30 on my car) that hold the hose to the car, and they would be hard to access from above. The hose itself is very flexible and that should make it easy to wiggle around.
OP- If I remember correctly, a member here by the name Rockstar143 might have done this replacement. It may be within his build thread (his Black TL), am not 100% on that tho. He also did the power steering pump rebuild DIY.
