Problems accelerating
Hello A-ZINE!
I own a 2007 TL-S 5AT w/ 86,000 mi.
Recently (in the last couple of weeks) after about 10-15 minutes of driving I notice that my car does not want to accelerate anymore like normal. By "Normal" I mean I can give it 1/4 throttle and it will take off completely fine and shift completely fine. Car is extremely smooth and there is no hesitation. After this 15 minutes or so the car starts to act up. I will push the throttle and the car is EXTREMELY slow. It will take me almost flooring it to get up and go. It doesn't hesitate or jerk or anything just has the same GOD AWFUL slow acceleration unless I completely floor it. I began to think the summer months finally got to me and the car was getting heat soaked but it will do it at night as well (when its 65 degrees out). Other things to note is the car starts 100% fine, idles completely fine even with the A/C on max. I have no CELs as well.
Currently I have RV6-P Pre-Cat Deletes / V3 J-Pipe / P2R TBS / Injen CAI / Coolant Bypass
ALL of these mods have been done to the car for around 7-8 months with no problems.
I tried to reset the ECU thinking it was a computer problem and it did nothing.
I thought it was a bad batch of gas so I put some fuel treatment in and ran a few tanks through and it still happens.
I have also researched and I can not find any specific answer to this. People have the same problem but they all have had slightly different problems / symptoms. I had a friend that is very familiar with these year honda/acuras tell me that maybe my transmission may be going out, or the filter or fluid is contaminated. ANY suggestions guys/gals?! I am to the point where I don't care what the problem is I just want to pay the money to have it fixed!

Any other suggestions guys?? I might be headed to just drop it off at Acura, although I have not had good experiences with them around here.
Had a "dealer" here tell me to "throw me 500$ and ill make sure your timing belt kit and oil pump/seal gets replaced".

The dealership will not diagnose the car because it's not in its factory condition.
But it sounds like it could be its not getting the right airflow, probably a bad sensor.

i had that same problem for years. I fixed it first by replacing the EGR valve. It made the acceleration so much smoother but didnt fix the problem completely. I tried many sensors and some other things but what finally did it, was the downstream oxygen sensor. I replaced both of them so im not sure which one was at fault but that did it. Funny how that was the least I suspected but it is always like that i guess.

It's just confusing because it will not do it if the car has sat overnight or has had time to cool off. But like mentioned, no CELs. Car doesnt jerk around. Starts fine, idles fine. Just extremely slow acceleration once it starts to happen. Almost like driving a 90's metro. Although I feel one would leave me at this point...
