Hello,
I have a new 05' Auto - Navi TL that I bought just over a month ago. I have about 2,300 miles (yes I'm enjoying it). At around 2500 RPM's a hear a light buzzing sound in the engine. Is this normal?

I just got a TL about a month ago as well. 05 w/ navi. and around 2000-2500 mine has a chirping sound. I brought it to the dealer yesterday and they're taking a look at it. I thought it might have something to do with the Transmission, but I'm not sure.

I have heard the same things from other members....have same car 05 TL auto Navi - not really heard anything here....but I have a louder exhaust on it so I might not have noticed? Do a search around the Probs and Fixes section....you will find several issues similar to what you have described.

Heat shield, maybe? Tons of threads...you can do a search for "heat shield"
